A good game a tough Tollcross team that went ahead after a lucky bounce of the ball however that could have been totally different if Carlos Mendozas shot from 40 yards hit the net instead of the left post. Dunedin played the better for the first half but couldnt find the killer pass in the last third. The equaliser came from goalie Scott Walker from the spot after Sam Molubi was brought down in the box. However this only lasted moments when a hand ball in the box gave Tollcross a pen and retook the lead. The final goal of the game came from John Storrie after he broke through on goal and calmly slid the ball past the keeper.

Dunedin Thistle celebrated a comfortable 3-0 pre-season win at Wardie this afternoon. Two goals from Sam Molubi and one from Curro Cervera topped of a day which saw some fantastic football played. Thistle however would not be wrong in thinking they could very well off gone onto win by a bigger margin. A good game overall against a team that have the potential to do well in the Minto Hotel 2nd Division next year.
